Digital Citizenship and Cybersafety Education Requirements

Campus Professional Educators (Teachers, Librarians, Administrators)

Deadline: October 15, 2015

Complete online course.
Be available to facilitate student lessons as per Principal.

Students (All K-12 Students)

Deadline: October 21, 2015

Receive at least two lessons.

Principals decide how to deliver the lessons. Individual teachers, groups of teachers, librarians, assistant principals, instructional leaders, or combinations are all acceptable.
K-8 students must receive lessons Learning.com - http://bit.ly/digi_safety
9-12 grade students must receive lessons from - https://www.commonsensemedia.org/educators/scope-and-sequence or another approved source.

Principals

Deadline: October 28, 2015

Verify that all teachers have completed the online course.
Verify that all students have received two lessons about Digital Citizenship and Cybersafety.
